The Right View Pro Hitting Camp is like no other camp you're son/daughter will attend when it comes to hitting training and mechanics. This intensive camp provides 20 hours of instruction and hands-on practice in the mechanics of hitting. The 12 points of the swing, as defined by Right View Pro, will be broken down and explained in great detail. Each portion will come with tutorials, drills, and professional oversight and instruction with plenty of practice time built in.
This camp is designed for all levels of ball player (both baseball and softball) but is recommended for students no younger than 9 years old.
Campers will receive at least two video sessions during their week of camp and will each receive a 12-frame picture strip of their final swing mechanics. In addition, each camper will receive a Sandlot Summer Camp T-Shirt. All of this is included in the basic registration fee.
An extended camp option is available for students whose parents work schedules require an early drop-off (8 AM) for convenience. The extra hours will include extra practice time, team-building excercises, and fun time.
Campers for the half-day camp should eat lunch prior to camp. Campers for the extended camp should bring a lunch and drinks. However, a Lunch Option is available to both the half-day campers and the extended day campers for an additional fee that covers the entire week.

Fall 2008 Weekend Camp Dates TO BE ANNOUNCED
DAY CAMP: Saturdays 8:30AM - 5PM
Cost: $69 per student
The Heart of an Athlete Camp is a Christian based camp that strives to put sports and athletic competition into the proper perspective. This camp is presented in workshop format and is interactive. Campers will use the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) devotional Heart of an Athlete as a guide throughout this camp. Bibles will be provided (to maintain all students within a given translation) to review cited reference material. The camp will not just be a "classroom" workshop. Organized team activities, such as wiffleball, kickball, dodgeball, soccer, flag football, and other team sport activities will be utilized to bring meaning to the topics of discussion. This camp provides a unique opportunity for the athlete to put his/her competitive spirit into the right perspective. It is intended to bring new "power" to the athlete's preparation and execution on the field. It is also intended to put perspective into the team aspect of sports competition. It is intended for athletes on any sport (not just baseball/softball).
This camp is designed for all levels of ball player but is recommended for students 9 years of age or older. Camp sessions will attempt to group students of like ages to enhance the experience.
Campers will receive Sandlot Camp T-Shirt, a copy of the Heart of an Athlete book, and a new outlook on their sport's participation. All of this is included in the basic registration fee. |

Fall Baseball Clinics:
1) Monthly 9U Clinic (Ages 9 and Under) 1st WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH (6PM - 7:30 PM): Contact The Sandlot at (410) 590-3224 OR Coach Jeff Gulakowski at (410) 451-4262 OR (mjgula@msn.com) to sign-up.
This clinic will be offered at the same day/time each month starting August 6th. It is designed for our younger baseball players and will feature group instruction with drill stations and fun competitions.
2) Team Hitting Clinic (Age/Level Based) ATTENTION COACHES: The Sandlot will be pleased to conduct a hitting clinic(s) with your team to prepare you for the 2008 season. Clinics will be structured to your specific needs and requirements. Pricing will be based on the scope of the clinic. Example: A 2-hour (hitting specific)clinic for a team of 10-15 players would cost approximately $150 ($10-$15 per player). Instruction would be administered by a "Sandlot Certified" instructor and assistant. Instructional content would include
instruction on the 12 steps for successful hitting along with drills and actual practice time. ATTENTION PARENTS: If the cost of private lessons is a bit too much for your current budget and you still want your young athelete to experience professional instruction, a clinic may be your most economical alternative. If you arrange for a group of 4 players for a clinic we'll structure that clinic around your group's needs. A 4-player clinic that meets an hour per week over a 4-week span would cost $100 per player. That's 4 hours of professional instruction at a fraction of the Private Lesson cost.
In addition, we'll give the coordinating parent a voucher for 50% off a future Sandlot Clinic.
Please call us for scheduling and to get a specific quote for your team.
